Organ Recital
Summer recital on one of the largest organs in Pittsburgh!
Note: RESCHEDULED from May 22, 2022 to July 3, 2022
The organ of First Presbyterian Church is a 4-manual, 77 rank instrument built by Casavant Frères in 1988 — its Opus 3643. The instrument contains nearly 4,400 individual pipes. The organ is located in the rear gallery of the church in front of the historic Willet stained glass window visible from Sixth Avenue. A central Baroque-style case containing the Choeur, Grand Orgue, and Positif divisions is flanked on both sides with cases containing the Recit and Pedale divisions of the organ.

Worship Service
Come for a wonderful service of worship with selections from Badyn Woodford’s Senior Recital to be presented on May 20, at Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville. Recital selections performed this Sunday morning will include, “This Little Light of Mine” (arr. Hayes), and “Morning Mood" (Grieg). Additional music will be provided by clarinetist Kady Morgan of St. Clairsville High School.
